Miranda Lambert took the stage at the 2020 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 11) to perform her latest single 'Settlin' Down.' The sweet track is from the country superstar's seventh studio album.
Just one day before Lambert was set to take the stage to perform 'Settlin' Down' at the awards show, she released the accompanying music video. Lambert had a special co-star in the video—her husband Brendan McLoughlin. She raved about working with her husband ahead of the award show, as well, saying she "never had a video in 18 years in the business with a love interest, and so it's kinda funny that my husband's my first one. I'm like, 'You're cute, you're here, and you're free.' It was fun; he did such a great job... and our little dog is in it, and our ponies. It's at my magical-happy place an hour away from Nashville."
McLoughlin was in the audience at the 2020 CMA Awards, which aired live from Nashville, to cheer on his wife. The pair even donned coordinating outfits on the red carpet.
Lambert was nominated for multiple CMA awards, as well, including Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year. She topped the nominations this year with seven nods total.
