Diddy's 50th birthday bash gifted the Internet a number of meme-able moments, but nothing has swept the web quite the now-viral clip of Jay-Z snatching a man's phone right out of his hands when he tried to record Beyoncé.
The incredibly awkward yet hilarious moment went down on Saturday (December 14) while Jay was standing on the sidelines as his wife Bey spoke and danced with her bestie Kelly Rowland, and Saweetie. While there doesn't appear to have been a "no phones policy," Jay was quick to snatch up a man's phone, who was also standing near the ladies, when the guy seemingly tried to take a snap of Queen Bey.
In the video you see Jay pull the phone right out of the guy's hand, in one fell swoop. The mystery man then puts his one free hand up in the air — the other hand was holding a drink — to seemingly apologize. Ironically, the snatch and grab moment was captured on someone else's phone. #META
As one might expect, Twitter's reaction to the moment was even funnier than the clip itself.
