Shania Twain performed a Today show concert on Friday to celebrate the release of her comeback single.

“Life’s About To Get Good” premiered this week on iHeartCountry radio stations, representing Twain’s first new music since 2012. It is the lead song from her upcoming fifth studio album, Now. The country superstar’s last studio record came out a whopping 15 years ago.

Despite giving up touring (as Gossip Cop reported, Twain embarked on “farewell tour” in 2015), it’s clear she hasn’t lost the creative bug. The highly-anticipated album is slated to be released in September, and a number of track titles have already been confirmed. And she debuted one of the songs, “Swinging With My Eyes Closed” at the Today show concert.

Twain’s set also included two undisputed classics, “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” The concert took place outside the morning show’s studio in Rockefeller Plaza. But Twain also went inside to chat with the hosts about her career resurgence.

“I’m really feeling the love. I didn’t realize how appreciated I was,” she confessed. “Honestly, I think, you know, distance makes the heart grow fonder, I guess, and it works both ways. I really miss the fans, and I’m loving just being with them again and feeling the whole joy of everything.”

Interestingly, when the lineup for the summer edition of the Today Citi Concert Series was originally released last month, it was the Zac Brown Band who was scheduled to perform on June 16. It’s unclear why that changed, but those aforementioned Twain fans are no doubt thrilled. Check out the videos below, and come back up for updates!
